Scope of the Position - Closes July 25, 2012Engagement for CareAccord:Initiate contact and establishing a point of contact within professional medical and healthcare related organizations, healthcare delivery organizations, and physicians, with the goal of presenting CareAccord, scheduling follow-up meetings and signing new clients for the Oregon HIE.Organize and facilitate CareAccord presentations and meetings with professional medical and healthcare related organizations, healthcare delivery organizations, and physicians to introduce the goals, objectives, and terms of the Oregon statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE).Identify and establish working relationships with state-internal and professional external partner organizations, enabling these partners to introduce CareAccord to their constituents and clients in order to increase the number of CareAccord prospects and new clients.Establish relationships and coordinate with established Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), Regional Health Information Organizations, Healthcare Service Providers (HSPs), to incorporate CareAccord into their offering suite(s), or to interface to the CareAccord product.Explore and recommend new and innovative ways to incorporate CareAccord within the healthcare and provider communities, e.g. Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendor integration.Develop and conduct first-time and filmed webinar demonstrations sessions that will facilitate participation and the expanded role of CareAccord within the Oregon HIE, Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO), and provider communities.Utilize all forms of communication mechanisms and tools to attract participants: phone calls, e-mails, and personal contacts will be the normal contact mechanisms, augmented by brochures, web introduction, follow-up and healthcare provider communication sites and organizations.Arrange group meetings with the aforementioned organizations to introduce and demonstrate CareAccord functions to executive and professional personnel, as well as to physicians and their staff. Facilitate meetings with the aforementioned groups, including executive level healthcare positions and physician participants.Demonstrate CareAccord functionality and facilitate wide-ranging Q&A sessions, including functional, technical, policy, and process perspectives.Affect a seamless handoff to the CareAccord Engagement Coordinator, making all prospect client contact information and associated files available along with a personal briefing and handoff introduction to the client.Initiate follow-up with the Point of Contact within the implementing organization to evaluate the registration experience, developing a process/system to capture, sum, and report this information to the Administrator/Director of OHIT.Establish and maintain a CareAccord Business Development Plan:Define and implement a process for identifying new prospects, channels, and referral networks for engagement of not-yet-participating healthcare related organizations, healthcare delivery organizations and physicians.Conceptualize and develop specifications that include detailed design documents. Coordinate with staff to develop technical specifications.Recommend policies and procedures or priorities to reflect system integration goals and requirements.Evaluate the feasibility of CareAccord by analyzing the benefits, the required resources, projected timelines and CareAccord lifecycle.Collaborate with the Engagement Coordinator in identifying and developing a business process flow that defines the entire Client contact, subscription, and support processes including all state and vendor functions and hand-off points.Define and implement processes for supporting prospects through the decision-making process to adopt and register with CareAccord.Document and implement the processes involved with the Customer Relationship Management tracking application utilized by CareAccord personnel.Develop, document, and implement processes for use, population, and standard reports for Business Development activity maintained in the CareAccord Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.Establish and implement the use of a Business Development Communication Toolkit, building upon the existing Engagement Communication Toolkit of standardized messages, for both internal and external provider and client communications.Project Communication:Schedule, track and document regular communication with project stakeholders and CareAccord prospects or users, using the adopted CareAccord CRM system.Participate in Project Staff, Project Management, and Project Planning meetings as requested by the Administrator/Director of OHIT.Regularly initiate communications and interaction with complementary project teams, staff, and OHIT management, regarding methodology and processes, activities and outcomes, subscriber-client status, and resource or information concerns.Develop and regularly analyze incoming and outgoing communications to ensure that the right messages and responses are being communicated in a timely manner to potential CareAccord prospects.Communicate feedback from the field to CareAccord Project Team, including employees of contracted vendor to ensure that the registration process is optimized for the provider client.Other duties as assigned.
